1. Abscond - To leave hurriedly and secretly, typically to avoid detection or arrest.

   - Synonyms: Flee, escape, bolt.
   - Antonyms: Stay, remain, linger.

Example: The thief managed to abscond with the valuable paintings before the police arrived.
2. Belligerent - Hostile and aggressive.

   - Synonyms: Combative, antagonistic, quarrelsome.
   - Antonyms: Peaceful, friendly, conciliatory.

Example: His belligerent attitude during the negotiations made it difficult to reach an agreement.
3. Cacophony - A harsh, discordant mixture of sounds.

  - Synonyms: Din, racket, noise.
  - Antonyms: Harmony, melody, euphony.

Example: The cacophony of car horns and shouting made it impossible to concentrate.
4. Deleterious- Causing harm or damage.
 
  - Synonyms: Harmful, detrimental, injurious.
  - Antonyms: Beneficial, advantageous, helpful.

Example: The deleterious effects of smoking are well-documented and widely recognised.
5. Ephemeral - Lasting for a very short time.

   - Synonyms: Transitory, fleeting, short-lived.
   - Antonyms: Permanent, enduring, lasting.

Example: The ephemeral beauty of a sunset is something to be cherished and remembered.
