1. Esoteric - Intended for or likely to be understood by only a small number of people with a specialised knowledge or interest.

  - Synonyms: Obscure, arcane, cryptic.
  - Antonyms: Common, familiar, accessible.

Example: The professor's lecture on quantum mechanics was so esoteric that only a few students could grasp the concepts.
2. Obfuscate - To render obscure, unclear, or unintelligible.

  - Synonyms: Confuse, obscure, muddle.
  - Antonyms: Clarify, elucidate, simplify.

Example: The spokesperson's convoluted answers seemed designed to obfuscate the facts rather than clarify them.
3. Recalcitrant - Having an obstinately uncooperative attitude toward authority or discipline.

  - Synonyms: Unruly, defiant, intractable.
  - Antonyms: Compliant, obedient, cooperative.

Example: The recalcitrant student refused to follow the school rules and was constantly in trouble.
4. Sycophant - A person who acts obsequiously toward someone important in order to gain advantage.

  - Synonyms: Toady, flatterer, yes-man.
  - Antonyms: Critic, detractor, opponent.

Example: The CEO surrounded himself with sycophants who would agree with his every decision.
5. Ubiquitous - Present, appearing, or found everywhere.

  - Synonyms: Omnipresent, pervasive, universal.
  - Antonyms: Rare, scarce, uncommon.

Example: Smartphones have become so ubiquitous that it’s hard to imagine life without them.
